WOLF MAN by Emma Franieczek

‘When we were young our mother told us, Don’t be fooled by the rich and spineless. In whatever it is you choose to do, Make sure it brings out the best in you.’

IF YOU GO DOWN TO THE WOODS TODAY by Perdita Stott

‘I know this is going to sound proper odd right now but even though her head’s a bit bashed in and she’s starting to go gooey and everything . . . she’s still pretty fit.’

THE FOREST by Andrew Thompson

‘It has been foretold. Pope Victoria told us in her sermon on the Norton Sofa, “When I see those golden balls, there quickly follows wood”.’

ONCE UPON A FOREST by Millie

‘Gone was the fence, the field no longer golden, but black, the wall of green a wall of grey. Where there were once tall oaks, stood trees of steel; sunlight replaced by halogen.’
